Continuum Academy Inc. ("Company", "we", "our") is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy in full compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), and all issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Republic of the Philippines.
This Consumer Data Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how it is processed and protected, your rights as a data subject, and how to reach our Data Protection Officer.
2. Personal Information We Collect
When you register, enroll, or interact with Continuum Academy, we collect:
- Identity & Contact Data: Full name, professional email address, job title, company/organization affiliation, and telephone contact number.
- Learning & Progress Metrics: Video lessons watched, minutes streamed via Mux, assessment quiz answers, competency scores, and certificate issuance records.
- Transaction Data: Subscriptions purchased, plan tiers (6-Month or 12-Month access), invoice numbers, and PayMongo transaction reference tokens. (Note: Sensitive card numbers and CVV codes are never received or stored on our servers; they are encrypted directly by PayMongo).
- Technical & Log Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction timestamps.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
We process your personal information strictly for legitimate business and educational purposes:
- To provide, administer, and personalize executive masterclasses and diagnostic assessments.
- To verify subscription status and process secure online payments via PayMongo.
- To issue verifiable, tamper-evident digital certificates of completion.
- To dispatch transaction receipts, system notices, and learning recommendations via transactional email (Mailgun).
- To comply with regulatory, tax, and accounting requirements under Philippine law.
4. Third-Party Service Providers & Data Transfers
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We share data only with trusted infrastructure partners bound by strict data processing agreements:
- PayMongo Philippines, Inc.: Payment processing gateway (BSP-regulated).
- Supabase Inc.: Secure PostgreSQL database storage with Row-Level Security (RLS) and encryption at rest.
- Mux, Inc.: High-definition masterclass video streaming infrastructure.
- Sinch / Mailgun: Transactional receipt and notification delivery.
5. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you are entitled to the following rights:
Know whether personal data pertaining to you is being processed.
Reasonable access to your personal information upon written request.
Dispute inaccuracy or error in your personal data and have it corrected.
Request the suspension, withdrawal, or deletion of your personal data.

6. Data Security & Retention
We implement comprehensive physical, organizational, and technical security measures—including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, multi-factor administrative authentication, and granular row-level access control—to safeguard your information against loss, theft, or unauthorized access.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the educational services requested, comply with legal obligations, or until an account deletion request is received.
